I got to visit my friends at KTVX (ABC affiliate in Salt Lake City) to talk about my book, “The Hope at the End of the Tunnel.” It’s always a treat to be back at channel 4, after having worked there years ago. Thank you GTU for having me!

A memoir about love, sorrow, and rediscovering joy.
How wild. To think ‘I want to write a book,’ then spend the next many years of my life working on said book, then finally having it out there in the world.
Thank you, thank you to all you early supporters for putting a smile on my face. The book is available now in both paperback and Kindle with an audio recording coming soon. https://a.co/d/b90tqtb

How exciting! I’ve been toiling away on this project for years. Years. Like… six of ’em.
My book, “The Hope at the End of the Tunnel” is almost ready to be released! As the cover says, it’s “A memoir about love, sorrow and rediscovering joy.”
This is a rom-com level love story, a pull-at-your-heartstrings story of loss, and a walk down a musical path in search of reasons to smile again.
Paperback and eBook are out on November 4 – audio book version coming soon!! Get your copy by clicking here:
Sigh…… the Mediterranean…..
What a dream to visit that beautiful corner of the world – a true bucket list destination for me.
While sitting aboard a big ol’ cruise ship, sipping Aperol spritzs (is that the plural of spritz?) with nary a care in the world, I wrote this fun little ditty.
Enjoy!
Another month, another song!
I wrote this song a bit ago. I don’t know… it just felt like every time I opened any app, there was everyone else living out what I wanted for my own life.
That’s tough, right? Watching someone else live your dream? And worse, it’s this notion of ‘you gotta work hard’ but we’re all working hard, aren’t we?
So this one is for all the people spinning their wheels, day-in, day-out, trying to make something happen in this rough-and-tumble world, but not feeling like they’re getting anywhere.
July is my low-down, dirty, done-me-wrong, country song!
Classic, right? Plus, I get to wear my cowgirl hat which I always love 🙂
Hi Friends! I’m back with another original song – Good Enough For You.
It’s a breakup song. I liked the play on words with ‘good enough’ – that it’s a term we use as both a high bar and as a way we settle.
Happy May, Happy Mother’s Day!
This song is for my own wonderful mom, of course, but it’s also for all my sweet friends who are missing their mamas. I tried to capture the privilege of having a totally mundane phone conversation with your mom. (I always shoot these vertically because I also post them to Insta – and you can see less of the room this way. Ha!)
My original song for April!
Some of you have asked if my songs are autobiographical. Loretta Lynn famously said, “I’ve either lived it or I’ve seen it and I won’t tell my husband which.” HA! So we’ll go with that.
This song is just about the thrill of enjoying the moment. Plus, I liked the play on words with Two Lips / Two Ships passing in the night.
Enjoy!
